This policy explains how Milktooth Research LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information through our website, milktoothres.com, and the games, apps and other products we offer (our "products"). Some products also have their own privacy policy with details specific to that product; where the two differ, the product's policy applies to that product.

Account information. When you sign in to one of our products, usually with an existing account such as Google or LinkedIn, we receive basic profile information from that service: typically your name, email address, profile photo and an account identifier. We never see the password for that account.
Information you provide. What you enter or create in a product, such as settings, choices, comments and a display name, and anything you send us when you contact us.
How you use our products. The actions you take in a product, so it can work as designed and so we can improve it.
How you found us. If you arrive through a link that carries a tag such as
ref or utm_source, for example from an ad, we may record that tag with your
account to understand which channels bring people to our products.
Technical information. Our servers log each request, including your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Our products use cookies only where needed to operate, such as keeping you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. This website sets no cookies at all.
Information we receive in confidential consulting engagements is governed by the agreement with that client, not by this policy.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for targeted advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
Other users, where a product is designed for it, for example showing your display name and activity to other players in a game. Each product's policy describes what others can see.
Service providers that host our products, store data, deliver email, handle sign-in or serve page content, under their own security and privacy terms.
The law. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users or others.
If Milktooth Research LLC or one of its products is ever sold or merged, user information may transfer to the new owner, who will remain bound by this policy for information collected under it.
We keep account information for as long as your account exists. After an account is deleted, its information may remain in backups for a limited time before it is overwritten. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. Contact us and we will honor them as required by the law that applies to you.
Our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to user data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information. Our products run in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there.
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will also tell affected users by email or in the product.
